More of the south!

Although we spent several weeks in the southern tip of New Caledonia it was amazing how many tiny unique islands there were! It was really interesting island hopping around and checking out what each island had to offer!

We were treated to some incredible turtle interactions. This little guy hung out with Simon for over 10 minutes

It was amazing how high some of the small islands were. Mato was probably 200m wide but 100m high!

Mato was surrounded by 100m of coral reefs. It was too shallow for the dinghy so we walked in the rest of the way!

One of the main tourist attractions out of Noumea. Amadee Light House was well worth the visit!

Every island we visited had a family of Osprey. This was two fledglings being taught how to fly
